Well, the buzz about the new “Arrested Development” movie is ramping up, finally, and I’m excited. I loved that show, and I’m so eager to see it on the big screen. Apparently, the whole cast is on board for the film, so no awkward Tina Louise-style replacements. Here’s a picture of Portia de Rossi, one of the stars of the show (and Ellen Degeneres’ lady love) in character as Lindsay Funke. I think she looks great here. Her earrings and pendant complement each other well without “matching,” and the whole look is classy and feminine. Portia was always well-styled during the show, and it’ll be fun to see how she gets to dress during the film.

I used a small picture because it’s too bizarre to look at closely. And you all know how much I love Kristin Davis. This would look fine wrapped around a chocolate in a shop window in Brussels, but on a lovely and accomplished American sitcom actress it’s beyond weird. I understand wanting to wear gold. I understand wanting to wear a lot of gold. But it’s best in its jewelry forms.
