If you are wearing nothing but a neutral color, i.e. navy, all black, white, brown, gray...(no images on shirts!!!) then accent with the gold necklace and gold shoes. Problem is that no one seems to know whether to classify this style as a chain or as a necklace. (the classification is important for shop directories, stock records etc ).

If I had to pick one or the other, I'd say it's a necklace because to me, a chain is something you'd hang a pendant on (for women - for men, a chain is tacky and best removed quickly lol). Plus, you'd expect a chain to consist of lots of small links rather than big ones like that.
It might be better to sit on the fence by calling it a "chain necklace" or a "chain link necklace" or something like that. |
