Tiffany's Jewelry is a sign of higher status and everyone wants to look fabulous. This new trend of "Please Return to Tiffany & co." necklaces are bracelets is just a fad. And I can guarantee that about 1 out of 3 women that you see wearing them has a fake one on. You can get them off the street in NYC for about $10. It's just the idea of women thinking they have something from Tiffany's. They just want to feel good about themselves.

Question: Looking for the name/designer of a sterling silver charm bracelet.?
I am looking for info about a charm bracelet........not an Italian charm bracelet...........It starts with a silver chain bracelet that you could actually wear alone. It is somewhat thicker than a chain you would wear around your neck. The charms snap closed around the chain, and can be purchased separately. They do not form the bracelet itself, like Italian charms do. Thanks.

there should be a stamp by the clamp if it say 14k 18k or24k its white gold if it dont say any of that its silver it could be a lower number to the k stands for karat so it could be like a 10 too but if it has a k stamped it means karat gold silver doesnt have anything like that

Answer: Usually anything that is claimed to be "gold" will ...
Usually anything that is claimed to be "gold" will have a kt stamping on the inside such as 10kt, 14kt , 18kt or 24kt--those are the most common--and notes how much gold content is in the piece (24 being SOLID gold and very soft, 10 having less gold but being more durable) Sterling silver jewelry, if it is such, is usually stamped w/.925 on the inside. If there are no stampings or markings anywhere on the bracelet and you still want to know for sure you can always take it to your local jeweler....but chances are it's either plated or costume in that case. Don't attempt cleaners or any "wives tales" surface test as the variety of these can damage and ruin the finish of the item based on what it is made of. A jeweler will always confirm w/you if YOU know what it is made of before cleaning as different cleaners are required for the different metals.
