i think that would be a little weird. I personally wouldnt do that because they have a different look. I wear diamond studs with normal clothes, or wear gold balls for browns and stuff and then I wear pearls when I want a classier look.

I think the pearl jewelrey would get more use because pearls look great with everyday attire, as well as really nice outfits- whereas gold looks overdone for daytime. Gold comes in and out of style, whereas pearls are timeless and such a great investment piece of jewelrey to have. Or like me, get small pearls so it is not too imposing and make sure you do not overdo it. And make sure they look right with your outfit, but pearls go with lots of stuff. Good luck!
