you can paint a coat of clear nail polish over it and let it dry for about a day or so. this also works with rings that aren't sterling silver and it makes it so that the rings won't turn your finger green. :] hope this helps

My granddaughter bought some Tiffany Jewerly @ a sale a lady was having because she was moving to Europe. But she can't tell if it is real or not? She doesn't want to take it to an appraiser and there are no Tiffany stores in our area.

ooh that's a toughie. ive seen a lot of fake tiffany jewelery (ones that seem 100% real too!), and the best way is to take it to a Tiffany store, but seeing as how there isn't one by you, I would suggest checking the authenticity of the stampings (Tiffany &Co., .925, etc). but keep in mind that even fake Tiffany these days have these stampings, so it's not a 100% sure way to tell. It also depends on which piece she bought, but generally,experience with fake Tiffany will tell you that usually the fake pieces are really shiny and just feels... cheap. if you have any other .925 silver jewlery, compare the color, texture, and weight. good luck :)

Why buy fakes when you can buy the real thing but second hand for so much cheaper! I get mine for around £40 and I know its real. Better than paying out the same amount for something that could end up looking like a child made it!

But $50 I think its too much for something fakejewelry or accessories are never over $20, so be wise and keep searchin for it somewhere else because I kno u can find it somewhere cheaper!!!
