believe it or not, gold does tarnish--but it takes longer than, say, silver. You're totally sure it's not plated, right? Because gold filled or vermeil or plate could get a scratch and underneath would tarnish.
Okay, back to cleaning it: I use a soft toothbrush and TOOTHPASTE forgold chains, I just run the chains over the toothbrush and they come out nice and sparkly!
Rinse well with warm water, brushing gently as you rinse so you can get all the paste out.Question: which gold necklace looks better?
