Most likely a Pawn Shop, but they won't really give you what it's worth. My brother paid $1500 for a 1/3 of a karat and sold it back to the same jeweler a year later for $300. The resale on diamonds is never what the are worth or appraise for, unfortunately. You could try to sell it locally, via a local paper (like the Penny Saver) - or try online with ebay.Answer: Ebay!

Diamond prices are determined by the quality of the diamond more than anything. Quality is measured by the Four C'S - Cut, Clarity, Carat and Color. Basically, the bigger and brighter the diamond, the more it will cost. Typically, the diamonds at a Target or Walmart are not in the same league as a diamond at a high-end jewlery store (they will be cloudier and have flaws, which look like small specs inside), but you might be fine with that. If it is big enough and clear enough for you, and in your budget, go for it.
