Question: Diamond Stud Earrings or Sterling Silver Tiffany Necklaces?

What would you rather have, a sterling silver necklace that says Tiffany on it from Tiffany's or diamond stud earrings? This is a gift for my best friends birthday. She just got her ears pierced and wears dangling earrings, but I thought studs would be sort of neutral, and she hasn't had a chance to build a stock of earrings so I can't say she wouldn't like studs. Or would a sterling silver necklace from Tiffany's be better? She's a girl that has a lot of rich friends while she isn't and complains that she wishes she could get something nice like her friends for once. I want to get her something from Tiffany's so she would have something to be a little proud of. Here is what I was considering. i have a silver tiffanys heart necklace and a matching bracelet they are one of the best presents I have ever gotten they go with anything and everything and I have gotten tons of compliments with them both i think she would be super thankful to get one and I think people notice the bracelet alot more than the necklace but thats justopinion and tiffanys has alot of stuff that you can tell its from there just look around a little more and there alot more flashy and gorgeous also I have the oval tag necklace and I get alot of compliments on that also

The heart is nice, but kind of cliche'. I like the sentiment behind the journey pendant...it might be more appropriate to give to someone you've been with for a long while...but it could also symbolize the the intention you have of being with her for "the entire journey".

I would consider the following factors... - Does she really like hearts? I know a lot of guys assume girls like hearts, but they might not. You should be able to figure this out easily by looking at her clothes, accessories, room/home decor, etc. - How old/young/mature/immature is she? A lot of adult women consider hearts to be "young"... yet a lot of adult women that are "young at heart" or "romantics" still really like them. - How serious is the relationship? A journey pendant signifies a long/serious relationship, even if you have yet to begin that journey... it'd be a great way to show your interest/commitment to a long/serious relationship. I hope anything I said helps.

Any store, and I don't recommend online because they like to deceive that way. Go to a store and physically try it on. A lot of places have this and its more common that one would think. I would start looking around and then christmas comes, you know exactly where to go

If you want something cheap go to Zales/Kay/Belden but just remember: they may claim to have certificates of authenticity but their diamonds are shit. If you want qualtiy, I suggest doing some research on diamonds. Wherever you can buy those, you will be able to find some one to make you a personalized necklace. Expensive.
