Because CZ resembles diamonds so closely , it is widely used as a diamond substitute but without the inherent resale value of diamonds of course. This probably sounds stupid but I have my original gold diamond wedding set but I hate mixing yellow gold and white gold jewelry and I would like to wear more of my white gold jewelry but we can't afford another diamond set in white gold. If you would enjoy having another set, I say go for it! I really don't know how many women have cubic zirconia, but it doesn't really matter. I'm sure some do :). And if you would like to get a pretty set to go with different outfits/jewelry, I think it would be fine.

My wife has 2 sets of engagement rings and wedding bands, they are similar except one is CZ. When we travel she wears the CZ's instead. In a real gold setting and if not too large it should look fine. If it doesn't bother your husband or you, you can put the diamond from you engagement ring into a white gold setting, and put a CZ into your original engagement ring.

I clean all ofreal diamonds and CZ's with Windex. I spray it on, scrub them with an old toothbrush and they just sparkle away! CZ's are worth buying because no one can tell the difference. Even a Jeweler will use a special tool to determine a synthetic stone or real one. Enjoy your BLING :-)

Question: Where to find nice cubic zirconia jewelry??

My boyfriend wants to buy me an engagement ring but I'd rather put all the money he'd spend on a real diamond towards a house or something like that. Diamonds aren't worth much anyway and don't have resale value. It really seems silly to me to spend so much when I only care about the fact that he got it for me and its pretty. It means just as much to me fake or real. We can always get a real diamond set in it when we can afford it. I know there are some nicer CZs than others, I have CZ studs that are Diamonart from JCPenny. They are a lot whiter than cheaper CZs. Does anyone know where to get nice CZ jewelry or has bought some?? I would like to get something in gold, not sterling, so it can be resized and its easier to change the stones if the time comes. I don't plan on reselling it, I was trying to make my point stronger, that there is no reason to have a real diamond. Also, Diamond Nexus Labs sells CZs, I have already researched them, thank you for your answer.

If you truely love this guy then it is something you will keep forever, and die with on your finger.
